Intelligent term detection and annotation system powered by OpenAI GPT. Automatically finds technical terms and creates helpful explanations.

== Description ==

AI Annotator is an intelligent plugin that automatically analyzes your content to find technical terms, concepts, and specialized words that would benefit from explanation. Using OpenAI's advanced AI models, it generates clear, concise explanations and displays them in beautiful tooltips.

**Key Features:**

* **Intelligent Term Detection** - AI analyzes content and automatically identifies terms that need explanation
* **Multilingual Support** - Works with English, Russian, Spanish, French, and German content
* **GPT-Powered Annotations** - Generates clear explanations using OpenAI GPT-3.5 Turbo or GPT-4
* **Beautiful Tooltips** - Modern, responsive tooltips with adaptive positioning
* **Per-Post Controls** - Authors can enable/disable and control intensity for each post
* **Smart Caching** - Dual-level caching system minimizes API calls and improves performance
* **Performance Optimized** - Minimal impact on page loading times

**How It Works:**

1. The AI analyzes your content to identify technical terms and concepts
2. Explanations are generated in the same language as your content

* Spanish (es_ES) - Complete Spanish support

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need my own OpenAI account? =

Yes, you need your own OpenAI API key and account with billing setup. This gives you full control over usage and costs.

= How much will this cost? =

Very little! Most websites spend $1-5 per month. GPT-3.5-turbo costs about $0.001 per annotation, and each term is cached after first annotation.

= Does it work with my theme? =

Yes, it's designed to work with any properly coded WordPress theme. The tooltips use standard CSS and JavaScript.

= Can I control which terms get annotated? =

Yes! Use intensity settings (Low/Medium/High) and max terms limits. You can set defaults globally and override per-post.

= Will this slow down my website? =

No. Annotations are generated once and cached. The system is designed for minimal performance impact.
